Reunited with the Citroen!

This morning we were able to collect the Traction Avant from the customs warehouse where all the cars were being stored. Each driver received a laminated Chinese drivers permit as well as a Chinese number plate. Once we got our car running we had to navigate our way through 32km of Beijing streets in order to return to the hotel. We made it back with only a slight navigating error however 3 of the cars broke down along the way and had to be towed back to the hotel! Not the best start for them! In the evening we were invited to a welcome dinner at the China Club which is one of the oldest and most beautiful Qing Dynasty palaces in Beijing. After catching up on the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy 500 we may be short of sleep but ready for another full day tomorrow.
